South Carolina Law Requires Notaries to Meet You in Person
There's no legal remote or online notarization option for South Carolina notaries. Every signer must appear in the same room as their notary. That means your documents need a real, licensed notary wherever you are.
Coastal Vows by Mike brings that notary to you, on your schedule, anywhere on the Grand Strand. Whether it's a time-sensitive real estate closing, a power of attorney for an aging parent, or paperwork that just can't wait for a weekday bank appointment, we handle it with the same care and professionalism our wedding clients already trust us for.
Common Documents We Notarize
A few documents we notarize often. This isn't a complete list.
Power of Attorney
Advance Healthcare Directives & Living Wills
Affidavits & Sworn Statements
Business & Employment Documents
Vehicle Title Transfers
Parental & Travel Consent Letters
Not sure if your document needs a notary, or which one? Give us a call at 828-237-8190. We're happy to talk it through.
As a notary public, we witness signatures and administer oaths, but we can't give legal advice or confirm a document meets your specific legal needs. For that, please check with an attorney.
Mobile Notary Service Across the Entire Grand Strand
From Little River down to Pawleys Island and every community in between, we travel the whole Grand Strand, not just a handful of zip codes. We also make hospital, nursing home, and assisted living visits, a service many notaries won't offer but one we consider essential for homebound and elderly clients.

Mobile Notary FAQ
Can you notarize documents online or by video call?
No. South Carolina does not currently allow remote online notarization. Every signer must be physically present with the notary, which is exactly what our mobile service is built for.
Do you offer same-day or emergency appointments?
Yes, when available. Evening and weekend appointments carry a small convenience fee. Reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate urgent needs.
Can you visit a hospital or nursing home?
Yes. We regularly visit patients and residents who can't travel, so their important documents can still get handled.
How do I pay?
We accept Zelle, along with other common payment methods. We'll confirm details when we schedule your visit.
What do I need to have ready?
A valid, government-issued photo ID for every signer, your documents unsigned (many must be signed in the notary's presence), and all signers present in person
